It’s almost time for a 24 hour livestream, and I honestly can’t wait.
What is the livestream?
I’m teaming up with several LGBTQ+ authors to raise money for several LGBTQ+ charities in the UK.
Who else is joining?
The other authors are yet to be announced, however rest assured it’s a good line-up. Each author is own voice LGBTQ, with some being YA fantasy authors, and others being LGBTQ+ YA romance authors, and there’s even a sci-fi author!
When and where is the livestream?
The livestream will be held on Friday 18th October, from 12am Greenwich Time, going on for 24 hours. As well as being hosted on Twitch (there will be a link soon!), each of the LGBTQ+ authors will host at least an hour of the livestream on their own chosen social media channel. This means they will be live from two angles, on two places, at any one given moment. More information on this will be announced closer to the date.
Which charities is the money going towards?
There are two charities we as LGBTQ+ authors have chosen to support so far. They are Stonewall (opens in new tab) and Mermaid (opens in new tab). However, if you know of any other LGBTQ+ charities you think would benefit from this event, please let us know either in the comments or on this page.
Can anyone across the world donate?
Absolutely! We will find the best conversion rates across the world.
However, there is one rule: if you are under 18, please, please, please, get your parents’ permission to donate. If you cannot ask another family for any reason, just watching and spreading the link with your friends is more than enough! Please stay safe.
